Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "We", "us", "our" refer to The Beauty Recipe Pte Ltd (UEN 53208125X).
• "You", "your" refer to the individual using this site or enrolling in a course.
• "SSG" refers to SkillsFuture Singapore.
• "Course" refers to any training programme (including WSQ-funded courses) offered by us through this site.

2. Enrolment and eligibility

• To enrol, you must be at least 18 years old (or have your parent/guardian's consent) and provide accurate information including your full name, NRIC / FIN, contact details, and other information required by SSG for WSQ funding eligibility.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Inaccurate information may invalidate your funding claim or result in your enrolment being cancelled.
• Course seats are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse enrolment or to cancel an enrolment that does not meet SSG eligibility criteria.

3. Fees and payment

• Course fees are stated on each course page in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of 9% GST where applicable.
• We accept payment via PayNow / card (through Stripe) and via SkillsFuture Credit (subject to SSG approval).
• Where you use SkillsFuture Credit, the actual claim and approval is handled by SSG. We are not responsible for SSG's claim decisions.
• Tax invoices are issued automatically once payment is confirmed.

4. Cancellations and refunds

• You may request cancellation of an enrolment by contacting us at enquiry@bracademyglobal.com.
• Cancellations made at least 7 calendar days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund (less any non-refundable third-party processing fees).
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date, or after the course has started, are at our discretion and may not be refunded.
• Refunds for card / PayNow payments are issued back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refunds of SkillsFuture Credit are returned to your SFC balance subject to SSG processing.
• We may cancel a course if enrolment is below the minimum required to run it, or for any other reason beyond our control. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.

5. Attendance and assessment

• You agree to attend at least the minimum percentage of session hours required by SSG funding rules (typically 75%).
• You agree to participate in any assessment required to complete the course.
• Failure to meet attendance or assessment requirements may result in funding being clawed back by SSG, in which case the unclaimed fee becomes payable by you.

6. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use this site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage our reputation or services
• Provide false or misleading information for the purpose of obtaining funding you are not entitled to (this is an offence under SSG rules)
• Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the site
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit our course materials without our written consent

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including course materials, text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to The Beauty Recipe Pte Ltd and is protected under Singapore copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the content for your personal, non-commercial training purposes only.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you arising from your use of this site or any course will not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant course in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to active enrolees and reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after revisions constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
